Curt Bicknell, Pharm.D.

Co-President

Curt joined the Guardian team in 2012 to help launch the Bartlett location.

With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, Curt previously worked in clinical account management for a hospice mail order and consulting business. Through his leadership, Curt has significantly grown Guardian Mid-South and continues to expand its reach by focusing on superior customer service. A native Memphian, Curt has spent his entire life in Memphis and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Married with one daughter, he is an avid runner, which he says is a great stress reliever. The family goal is to visit all 63 national parks.

Rhett Barker
Rhett Barker, Pharm.D., BCGP

Director of Operations

Rhett provides operational guidance to the pharmacy to deliver medications and other services to residents Guardian Mid-South serves.He is passionate about long-term care pharmacy because all residents deserve excellent pharmaceutical care.

He has his board certification in geriatric pharmacy and is the state chair of the Long-term Care Pharmacy Committee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Rhett calls Memphis, Tenn. home and enjoys cooking and time in the great outdoors with his family.

Ben Clark
Ben Clark

Director of Sales & Marketing

Responsible for business development and the account management team, Ben is passionate about creating ways to improve resident outcomes. He increases growth for our pharmacy by creating unique opportunities for our current customers and acquiring new business.

Prior to Guardian, Ben was the Director of Information Technology for a local medical equipment company. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree with an emphasis on Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis.

A resident of Bartlett, Tenn., he can often be found at a field or gym cheering on his four kids with his wife. He enjoys all types of fishing but prefers fly fishing.

June Tucker
June Tucker

Director of Finance and Administration

June joined Guardian Mid-South Pharmacy in 2018 and has quickly become an extraordinary asset to the team. June possesses an ability to maintain the details for financial activities including planning, reporting, and HR.

June comes to Guardian with extensive knowledge in accounting and financial planning. Throughout her various positions she has increased responsibilities in the health care industries. She brings outstanding experience including corporate financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and planning.

An accounting graduate from the University of Phoenix, June currently resides in Memphis, TN where she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She likes them all!

Allegra Fadeyi
Allegra M. Fadeyi, Pharm.D.

Lead Consultant Pharmacist

Allegra joined the Guardian team in 2018, providing clinical services to long-term care facilities and youth residential communities.

She has more than 20 years of experience as a pharmacist, 19 serving as a Consultant Pharmacist. She has a passion for providing medication safety and disease state management to residents in long-term care facilities. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In her spare time, Allegra enjoys spending time with her family, reading, exercising, and volunteering (especially in areas to promote the health and wellness of women and children). She currently lives in Memphis, Tennessee with her husband and two children. 

Gayle Lee
Gayle Lee, RN

Account Manager/Nurse Educator

As a liaison and educator for Guardian’s clients, Gayle ensures the pharmacy’s services are seamless, valuable, and effective, while being compliant with regulatory guidelines. She offers clients services, e.g., state survey prep, medication storage audits, medication administration reviews and related in-services, and IV competency courses.

With over 25 years of experience in geriatrics, she has held multiple positions within long-term care, serving as a Nurse Consultant for multiple skilled nursing facilities. Knowing the vital role safe medication management plays in an individual’s well-being and serves as an educator for frontline nursing staff.

A board-certified Gerontological Nurse, Gayle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Professional Studies in Aging Services Leadership. She resides in Dyersburg, Tenn., and enjoys time with family, hiking, and relaxing on the beach.

Tina Shumpert
Tina Shumpert

Account Manager

Tina began her career with Guardian as the Lead Data Entry Technician. In this role, she managed, motivated and challenged teams to exceed expectations.

She takes pride in her role as an Account Manager as it gives her the opportunity to use her relationship abilities by helping others. As the liaison between the pharmacy and facilities, Tina solves customer concerns and works with accounts to develop and maintain customer relations. She recognizes the value and trust the team places in her and strives to exceed expectations.

She lives in Memphis, Tenn. and enjoys movies, reading and trying new recipes.
